Every few weeks, the Canada's Guide to Dogs website features different Breeders within the individual dog breed sections of the site. The following is a complete listing of participating Breeders. Select from the breeds listed and then click on the Breeder links to view the feature pages:
Please Note: If you are considering the adoption of a puppy of any breed, it is very important to be selective in choosing a responsible and reputable breeder. While it is our goal on this website to only include listings of responsible and ethical breeders of purebred dogs, and there is certain criteria that must be met in order to be listed, we can only rely on the honesty of those submitting the request. Therefore, we cannot recommend, nor do we endorse or support any one of these listings. If you are looking to purchase a puppy, it is your responsibility to do your research in learning what to look for in a breeder. Featured Bulldog Breeders: The Bulldog, sometimes referred to as the "English Bulldog", is calm and dignified with a steady, even disposition. He is courageous but not aggressive. He loves people and, though his appearance may be somewhat intimidating, he does not generally make a good watch dog. He has a relatively low activity level so adjusts well in just about any environment. Today, Bulldogs are successsfully competing in Obedience as well as Agility and Tracking, and their calm disposition makes them ideal candidates to work as Therapy Dogs. French Bulldog:

CLICK HERE to visit the French Bulldog section of the website. Featured French Bulldog Breeders: The French Bulldog is alert, active and playful yet quiet and well-mannered. The breed originated in France when Bulldogs were brought over from England in the mid-19th century and crossed with local breeds. The result was a breed known as the Bouldogue Français or French Bulldog. There are two weight classes, the Lightweight class with the weight being under 22 lbs (10 kg) and the Heavyweight class for dogs weighing from 22 lbs up to, but not over 28 lbs. The Karelian Bear Dog is a medium-sized member of the Spitz family of dogs and believed to be a close relative of the Russian Laiki.
