Breeder Experience:

Co-bred the Top Ridgeback in Canada in 1988.
Owned my first Silky in 1989 and finished his American championship at 8 months old. This Silky was #1 Silky and #6 Toy in Canada 1991 and #1 Silky and #3 Toy in Canada 1992. This dog named Sid obtained over 300 Group placements. Later I bred the first Canadian Bred Silky to go Best In SHOW. His name is Kramer (now 12 yrs old) he obtained more than 400 Group Placements, 6 All Breed Best In Shows, #1 Silky, #3 Toy in Canada 1998 and #1 Silky #3 Toy in Canada 1999.
Started back in Ridgebacks in 2002.
In 2006 my Ridgeback Jordan was #4 Ridgeback in Canada.
I have bred/co-bred over 25 Canadian Champions and 11 American Champions.

Show/Exhibiting Experience:

Have shown my Ridgebacks in Canada and the U.S, also the Silkys for over 20 years. Finished 10 Silkys myself in Canada and 4 to their American title; 5 Ridgebacks to their American title and 10 to their Canadian title. Won 14 Best Puppy in Group with the Ridgebacks.

Judging Experience:

First permit assignment was for Toys the bottom half, finished in 4 assigments then off to the top half got my numbers in 3 assigments during that I was able to judge the whole group, on many many occasions my group first dog went on to go Best In Show by another judge.
Licensed for 3 groups in 6 years. Have judged numerous Breed Specialties, the most memorable were the Toy Specialty in New Brunswick and the Bulldog Specialty in Ontario.
My American assignments have been very successful, good reports from the AKC field reps. Have judged for the same clubs more than once.
I love to judge Rare Breeds — have judged for the Rare Breed Club of Western Ontario 6 times and the American (ARBA) Club at Darien Lake, NY.
Have been asked to judge in Japan and Australia but had other committments and could not comply.

Other Experience / Qualifications:

Graduated 4th Level of Casey Garner's School of Canine Science "Dogs a Hobby or a Profession", a College graded course.
2008 wrote an article on "The Rhodesian Ridgeback" for a nation wide magazine.
Held numerous positions in clubs both breed and all breed clubs.
