Alaskan Malamute Breed Clubs

• The Alaskan Malamute Club of Canada (AMCC) — The AMCC was formed in October, 1974 and recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) to function as the official National Breed Club representing the Alaskan Malamute in 1980.

• The Alaskan Malamute Club of America (AMCA) — The AMCA is the American Kennel Club (AKC) National Breed Club for the Alaskan Malamute.
• Northern California Alaskan Malamute Association(NCAMA) — "Dedicated to furthering the Alaskan Malamute breed, promoting sportsmanship and ethical practices throughout the sport of purebred dogs."
• Southern California Alaskan Malamute Club
• Minnesota Malamute Club — The current Minnesota Malamute Club was formed in September 1985 to promote activities centered around the Alaskan Malamute.
• Alaskan Malamute Club of Greater Houston (Texas) — The only Alaskan Malamute breed specialty show club in Texas and one of the oldest continually operating Malamute clubs in the nation.

Several events and activities, sponsored by the HELP League (AMHL) and by some AMHL members, are scheduled at throughout the year. Events include activities such as weight pulling, day hiking/dog packing and dog sled racing as well as clinics on various aspects of dog ownership.
