Rory was also honored with the Pioneer Spirit Award by the Humane Society of Lousiana for her continued rescued efforts saving pets after the politics of Hurricane Katrina left thousands of pets and animals born in the wild, starving and homeless. Rory understands that dogs are pack animals with vast amounts of feelings and emotions. "Dogs need rules, boundaries and leadership to live in harmony in their human family's home." Rory teaches pet owners how to best go about establishing leadership.
